The Coastal Client Difference

What you can expect when you connect with us for your temporary hiring or direct placement needs.

STEP 1:

Initial Client Consultation/ Client Discovery Meeting

Whether it is face to face or a telephone conversation, discovery and consultation is step number one. This is when we learn about you, your organization and the importance of the position(s) you need to fill. We ask as much about the culture of your organization as we do about the job specifics. Only then can we outline our full process. We look to partner with you on this staffing journey, every step of the way. If you have a current relationship, we want to know what’s working and what’s not. How can we customize our processes and make improvements in “the way things have always been done” to simplify and improve?

STEP 2:

Position Description Review/Analysis

You need a staffing partner for a reason. Our job is to figure out why and from that starting point, develop our system for your recruitment that best fits with your ongoing, and likely fluctuating, requirements. A deep dive into your positions and analysis of how they function within the organization is a huge key to our success. The “why” behind everything, and a true understanding of the most important factors in placements and preferences is critical in this analysis step.

STEP 3:

Client Unique CORE Development

We will profile your current top performers and evaluate the tasks of the job. Those two exercises will yield specific results. We will combine the data and work through a final evaluation with you to validate the information. This will help us FILTER IN the right candidates for your job. By uncovering the necessary skill sets and energy combinations for your positions and recommending potential employees who have those qualities, we can improve retention rates. By placing people who are uniquely hardwired to be fulfilled by the work at your job site, hiring will be a lot easier.

STEP 4:

Hiring Process Begins

Not only do our recruiters search our proprietary database, we network through our association with TempNet, a national association of independently owned employment agencies.  We advertise on job boards and through schools and institutions where we have unique relationships.

We are qualified to evaluate our candidates with numerous assessments such as the ACT Work Readiness tests, the Birkman Assessment and KENEXA Skill Tests to name a few.  Our goal is to find the right candidate with the right skills and the right temperament to fit in with your work culture!

STEP 5:

Candidate Presentation/Client Interviews

We present the best fit for the opening(s) and allow your preferred method of screening to take place as a final step in the hiring process. Through this step, we learn more about your needs and can make adjustments to fine-tune our submissions. Our team handles all the administrative aspects of scheduling the interviews based on your preferences. We also provide detailed information about the candidate prior to the interview to allow for a much more efficient interview for you.

STEP 6:

Employee Starts Working

We provide detailed instructions to the employee about first day expectations so that the hand-off runs smoothly. We check in within the first hour to make sure that the employee arrived, dressed appropriately, and on time. The on-going relationship and development of that employee begins here.

STEP 7:

Check-Ins/Performance Reviews/ Feedback

This step is vital in our relationship. Staying in touch to review performance of our employees and ensuring that the transition to your company, if there is a full-time position available, is important to us!

STEP 8:

Continued Connection

We are committed to getting it right. That is why once the start day comes and goes, Coastal will still be there.
